Inconsistent Heybridge hit top form on Saturday, easily rolling over Sutton United in a 2-0 win.
Sutton appeared strong in midfield, and it took the Swifts a while to exploit the attacking threat of Andy Tomlinson who was prominent throughout.
The first goal came on the half-hour as Kevin Budge, a goalscorer last week, took a pass from Tomlinson at his feet and swivelled to send a drive past Tommy Dunn and into the net.
The keeper redeemed himself shortly afterwards as he expertly denied Lewis Baillie, only for the ball to spin out to Jamie Windows who opened his account for Heybridge with an exquisite lob.
Rob Haworth came closest to rescuing something out of the game for the Surrey visitors, though Heybridge were content to shut up shop and threaten on the break, a tactic that nearly brought about a third goal on two occasions with Tomlinson going close.
