A bare-chested youth is suspected of being behind the theft of an earthenware tips bowl from a Westcliff coffee shop.
The theft took place at Thistles Coffee Shop, in Hamlet Court Road, where the bowl, containing cash, was taken from a counter.
The suspect was aged 17 to 20 and was topless.
He wore short trousers, carried a green bag and was last seen heading towards London Road.
