Having started life in the Ryman League First Division North with a creditable home draw against Harlow on Saturday, Great Wakering Rovers will be looking for away success at Yeading tonight.

Tonight's hosts started their season with a 2-0 defeat at Herford Town and Rovers will be boosted this evening by having Danny Scopes available again after being suspended for Saturday's start.

Showing their mettle - Shoebury's Industrial Metal Services, who are backing Great Wakering Rovers for the second season running, were given a framed picture of the team when their representative Paul Keogh (left) handed the cheque to general manager Fed Smith at Burroughs Park.

Also, the village side might use last season's top scorer Mark Hampshire from the start providing he felt no ill-effects after coming on as substitute in the Harlow success.

Hampshire, like long-serving defender John Heffer, who is still unavailable, is recovering from summer surgery.
