Model Lucy Stone could be on her way to setting the world on fire as Miss World.
The former Colchester Sixth Form pupil and Miss London 2002 is off to the Miss UK finals next month where she could book her place in the world's biggest beauty pageant.
Lucy, 21, said: "I can't wait. I've been working towards this since I was 15. If I get to the Miss World finals, it could be the biggest thing I've ever done."

She has been winning beauty competitions since 1996 when she was voted Miss East Anglia at the tender age of 16.
Other titles under her sash include Miss Great Britain Teen 1999, Miss Great Britain 1999, Miss Great Britain Photogenic 1999 and Miss London 2002.
Lucy also took second place in Miss International 2001 held in Singapore.
She booked her place in September's Miss UK finals in Liverpool after being voted Miss London 2002 from among a field of 66 competitors.
If she wins Miss UK, she will compete in Miss World 2002 to be held in Nigeria.
