A public inquiry into the £1billion superport at Shell Haven has been delayed following lobbying by Thurrock Council.
And instead of three separate inquiries into different aspects of the development, one single inquiry will deal with the whole project.
The Planning Inspectorate had set the date of the first inquiry for January 21. Now the inquiry into the entire development will start on February 25.
