Every ward in Castle Point is to get perked up with a £5,000 cash boost, councillors decided.
A full meeting of Castle Point Council agreed the extra budget which each area forum will decide how to spend.
Canvey East Area Forum, which meets next on Wednesday, November 20, at 7.30pm at the drama studio at Furtherwick Park School, is to be allocated a total of £15,000 - £5,000 for each of the Canvey East, North and South wards.
The budget is being given to be spent on "civic pride" issues.
Residents are to be asked for views about what to do with the cash.
