Grays are being encouraged to make more noise by player-manager Mark Stimson.
Blues might be in-form, but Stimson feels that if he isn't out on the pitch then it can go a bit quiet.
Stimson, who is 50-50 to start at Hayes tomorrow, said: "It's not that the players don't have their say - you just have to be in our dressing room to know that.
"But I'd like them to be a bit more vocal where it matters the most."
Blues fans will feel a lot happier if their manager recovers from the strain in the back of his knee because the team missed his midfield presence in Tuesday's 1-1 draw against Hampton.
And they would also like to see Adam Miller rediscover the form that made him such an influence with Canvey Island.
"When a player moves to another club he often tries too hard to impress and I think that's the case with Adam," explained Stimson, who substituted the midfielder on Tuesday.
"I just want Adam to relax more and then we'll see just what a good player he is."
