Bookworms are being encouraged to get their teeth into Zadie Smith's celebrated novel at a special meeting.
Basildon Library's talk group Shelf Life will be discussing the book at its meeting on Tuesday, December 3, at 6pm.
Winner of the Whitbread First Novel Award 2000 White Teeth was the author's first novel, describing life in a multi-cultural North London suburb.
Bonnie Hart, Basildon Council cabinet member for libraries and lifelong learning, said: "Shelf Life is a well-established book talk group and this will be an interesting and lively evening."
