A kind-hearted grandma brought Christmas smiles back to her family's faces after their beloved festive snowman was stolen from outside their home.
On Monday abominable thieves whisked three-and-a-half foot Frosty from the family's doorstep in St Michaels Road, Canvey.

But, mum Kerry Crowley is now full of Christmas cheer after seeing her four youngsters' "eyes light up" when they met Mr Freeze, courtesy of grandmum Pat, 50.
Mrs Crowley, 31, said: "I can't thank my mum enough for buying Mr Freeze.
"She came all the way from her home in east London to make things right again for me and my children."
