Stanway Rovers progressed to the semi-finals of the Jewson League first division knock-out trophy following their 3-2 aggregate victory against Godmanchester.
Following their goalless draw last month poor defending from both sides resulted in four goals being scored in the first half.
Rovers took the lead after 20 minutes when loan-striker Ricky Shaffter scored his first for the club. But within a minute the visitors drew level.
Glen Driver restored Rovers' lead but again a lapse of concentration at the back allowed Godmanchester to equalise before half-time.
Five minutes into the restart a good move between Driver and Lee Abrehart saw Shaffter grab his second and although Rovers had further chances they were unable to extend their advantage.
Stanway's assistant manager Tony Kinsella said: "We took a while to wake up but played a lot better in the second half."
