The final date for letters to be sent on the planned new school in East Clacton is fast approaching.
The chairman of the St Paul's Residents' Association is urging residents to make their views known to Essex County Council. The closing date for the consultation process is December 18.
The council unveiled controversial plans for a new school on land to the side of Windsor School in Holland Road at the end of October.
Since then there have been three public meetings and a special meeting called by the residents' association, when there was an overwhelming feeling against the new school plan.
Residents were concerned about increased traffic in the area and pointed to the fact there are already two schools within 100 yards of each other, creating congestion at school times.
