Southend United forward Daniel Webb has finally completed his long expected move to Blues' Third Division rivals Hull City on a free transfer.
The 19-year-old has been continually linked with the Humbersiders, who are managed by his mentor, former Shrimpers boss Peter Taylor.
And the inevitable has happened at last with Webb, who failed to make the Roots Hall first team this term, joining the Tigers on an 18-month contract, with Blues receiving a future sell on clause.
"I'm really happy everything has been settled as Hull are without doubt the biggest club in Division Three," said Webb.
