West Ham travel to Old Trafford hoping to continue their recent excellent run at the home of Manchester United.

The Hammers have picked up two shock 1-0 wins at the "Theatre of Dreams" in their last two visits, and could complete an unprecedented hat-trick tomorrow lunchtime.

Not since 1929 have the Irons emerged unbeaten from three successive visits to the Red Devils, but they drew one of those early encounters.

But they will have their work cut out to match that run against an in-form United, as manager Glenn Roeder acknowledged.

"At Old Trafford you always have to have to play above yourselves," he said. "Teams in the Champions League have to raise their game there."

Although Eduoard Cisse looks set to shake off a hamstring injury and play it highlights yet again the lack of cover Roeder has available.

And there is a doubt over second choice goalkeeper Raimond van der Gouw after the former Manchester United stopper limped out of the Derby reserve match.

If he does not recover Steve Bywater will probably be on the bench.

Ian Pearce is likely to continue up front alongside Jermain Defoe, again illustrating the need for another striker to be brought in during the January transfer window.
