Burglars made off with a collection of home cinema and electrical equipment worth £2,000 after smashing a glass panel in a door at a Shoebury house.
It happened in Richmond Avenue and the culprits made off with a DVD player, a 32in widescreen television, a minidisc player, a car CD player, a home surround sound system and a mobile phone.
