Great Wakering Rovers could hardly face a tougher task over the next four days as they bid to move away from the Ryman Division One North danger zone.
Their next two fixtures are against promotion-chasers Harlow -- managed by ex Billericay boss John Kendall -- on Saturday then at home to Northwood on Tuesday.
It's a tall order, but Wakering will go into their stiff double with some hope following their good battling performance at Hornchurch last Saturday where they held on until injury time.
Dan Ringer, promoted from the reserves, scored twice in the Thamesside Trophy game earlier in the week and could keep his place for Saturday's visit to Harlow.
