Confusion over a letter caused parents to think a primary school teacher had been sacked.
David Brinded, the headteacher of North Crescent Primary School, North Crescent, Wickford, wrote to mums and dads explaining a teacher had left the school for good. But misunderstanding - or what Mr Brinded believes is troublemaking - led some parents to think the teacher was forced to leave.
