Tommy Miller today insisted Ipswich Town's play-off dream is still very much alive after routing Watford 4-2.
The midfielder opened the scoring with a rasping 25-yarder during Saturday's morale-boosting win at Portman Road.
And, reflecting on his first league goal of the season, Miller told the Evening Gazette: "I'm absolutely delighted.
"It wasn't our best performance and we were a bit sloppy at times, but it was still a great achievement to score four goals.
"People have written off our chances of making the play-offs but I think we can still make it.
"We can and will build on this and, with so many points up for grabs in the next three weeks, the table could look very different by the start of 2003."
Marcus Bent, who scored with a late volley on his comeback from injury, added: "It was great to get back in the swing of things and especially to score with my weaker foot.
"The lads had a bit of a laugh afterwards because I'm not known for being very strong with my left boot."
Richard Naylor and Pablo Counago were the other scorers for Ipswich, with Watford's goals coming from Tommy Smith and Neil Cox.
