The funeral of a former policeman from Wickford has taken place at Chelmsford Cathedral.
PC Darren Pike, 30, who served with the City of London police, died after a motorcycle accident in Cambridge last month.
He had previously served at Basildon and with the force's support unit before moving to the City force in March this year. He lived in Wickford.
