Adventurous hikers are being urged to trek to Hadleigh Castle and Two Tree Island, behind Leigh railway station, over the weekend.
Members of the Rochford and Castle Point Ramblers Association will be taking part in a six-mile stroll through the area, meeting at St Clement's Church, Leigh, and continuing to the castle before travelling to the island.
Anyone wanting to join them should meet at the church in Leigh Broadway West at 10am on Saturday.
