Three men were recovering in hospital today after a vicious street fight that left one man stabbed and another two injured.
Up to five men were involved in the fight in Victoria Road, Laindon, at 9.15pm yesterday.
Police believe that weapons were used, including possibly a knife and a stick. Three men were detained in Basildon Hospital.
One had a stab wound to the leg, one suffered a head injury and the last had a shoulder injury. Police do not believe that any of the injuries are life-threatening.
A spokesman for Essex Police said: "We believe the the incident arose out of some sort of domestic dispute.
"Police are currently investigating."
