An eye-catching way of displaying jewellery has become a bit of a talking point among Leigh traders since new jeweller David Roberts came to town.

The shop opened just before Christmas and owner Mr Roberts came up with a clever way of making some of his jewellery look as if it is actually inside a tank full of real fish.
Beryl Poole, who works in Stuart's, a jeweller's shop two doors away, said: "It looks lovely. "It's a really nice, brand new shop.
"We're quite traditional so it's like having the old alongside the new."
