Better air quality and less noise is on the cards for shoppers visiting Colchester's town centre.
Colchester Council has drawn up measures to make the town centre a nicer place to visit.
They include a proper park-and-ride scheme for the town, improving rural bus services and giving council employees travel plans to reduce congestion.
Andrew Budd, transportation manager at the council, is unveiling the measures at tonight's meeting of the Town Centre Forum at the town hall at 6pm.
