The search is on to find new locations to take part in the borough's Heritage Days in September.
Last year, 12 churches, museums and buildings of historical or cultural interest opened up especially for the weekend and it is hoped even more will come forward to take part in this year's scheme.
It is also hoped that Essex Adult Community College and Hutton Poplars Hall may be opened up for the event which runs from September 12 to 15.
The Heritage Days are part of national initiative to celebrate the UK's architectural history.
Projects co-ordinator Jane Ponder said: "If there is anyone who would like their building included in the scheme we would like to hear from them."
