A terrified young woman was slashed across the face and robbed after withdrawing money from a cash dispenser in Basildon town centre.
The 18-year-old, from Canvey, was forced to a dark corner near a multi-storey car park and cut on the cheek before her attacker, a tall white man in his 20s, walked off with her handbag.
