The oldest engineering company in Colchester is selling off half its office space but jobs won't be lost.
The Brackett Group is selling one of the two buildings which houses its water filtration system manufacturing business in Severalls Lane.
A spokesperson for the company stressed the sale has not meant job losses and is the result of computerisation, efficiency and the departure of Belgium-based business Biotim UK.
A spokesperson for the Brackett Group said: "There will be no job losses.
"We did have a Belgian company on the first floor and they moved back to Belgium.
"Through computerisation and efficiency we don't need as much space and we have made better use of our office area."
The building, which is up for sale, housed 80 employees in it's open-plan environment but they have been moved next door meaning the remaining building is now home to 150 staff.
