George Morris was on top form as Southend Swimming Club members competed in the first Essex County Age Group competition of 2003.
George rose to the occasion, swimming personal best times to take silver in both the 50m breaststroke and backstroke.
And he landed bronze in the 50m freestyle in the 11 year age group.
Brindley Piper's personal best time in the 50m breaststroke saw him make his first ever individual Essex county final in the 13 year age group.
Other Southend finalist were Jenni Lawton, fly and freestyle, Holly Morris, breaststroke and freestyle, and Amanda Hedges, breaststroke.
