V2003 headline act Colplay have won two Grammy music awards.
The band won best alternative album for A Rush Of Blood To The Head and also best rock performance by a group for their track In My Place at US music's top awards ceremony.
At the Madison Square Gardens ceremony, lead singer Chris Martin sung the track Politik with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.
Coldplay, who won two Brit Awards last week, took the awards on an otherwise disappointing night for British music.
