Police are investigating two car fires in Halstead.
Yesterday, two suspicious car fires happened within half-an-hour of each other in the town.
The first was a Vauxhall Nova in Ronald Road at 7pm, and the other was also a Nova, this time in Ramsey Road at 7.30pm.
Halstead firefighters, armed with breathing apparatus and hose reel jets, dealt with both blazes.
Both cars were totally burnt out and the incidents are being probed by fire investigators.
