What a great day! Southend United attracted a new set of fans by kicking off Saturday's game with a pop show.

Among the youngsters enjoying performances were Canvey girls Stacey Cox, Rebecca Crabb and Katherine Crabb, pictured.
Some missed the pre-match entertainment because of traffic disruption caused by tree-felling on the A127 between Southend and Rayleigh. The match began 15 minutes late.
