Police were today probing the death of a motorcyclist in an accident on the A13.
The biker, said by police to be a 30-year-old man from Corringham, died at the scene of the crash near the Five Bells Roundabout and the Green Acres Road Bridge in Corringham.
It was not immediately clear why he had come off his white Honda 1,000cc bike at 5.15pm yesterday and police were today appealing for witnesses to the incident.
Police said the road was closed temporarily for the recovery services.
