Get your glad rags on and head back to the 1960s, 70s and 80s to dance the night away while raising money for charity.

That's the message from Darren Guyon, manager of Diva, on Festival Leisure Park, Basildon.

He has decided to hold a fancy dress charity night on Easter Sunday - April 20 - from which he will donate £2 from every entrance fee to St Luke's Hospice in the town. Party-goers aged over 25 are being urged to raid their wardrobes for their favourite classic outfits and head to Diva on Sunday, April 20.

Essex FM DJ Mikee Porter will provide the tunes from 9pm to 2am for party-goers, who must be aged 25 or over.

Tickets cost £5 and the best dressed person will win a year's membership to Diva and the adjoining Ikon nightclub.
