Special needs nursery school Snaps threw open its doors to give people a chance to see the kind of work it does.

The open day was for current pupils' parents, prospective parents and members of the public.
The pre-school in Westborough Road, Westcliff, is open to youngsters with a variety of learning difficulties.
Southend's mayor Alan Crystall and MP David Amess were on hand with Paulette Moses and Victoria Moltino when some of the youngsters had fun with the sandpit soon after the centre opened its doors to visitors.
