Richard Naylor believes Ipswich Town have given themselves a mountain to climb in their quest for the play-offs - starting with next week's 'must-win' showdown at Norwich.

The Blues striker was reflecting after Saturday's disasterous 2-2 draw with Division One strugglers Grimsby.

Sorry Town turned in a woeful performance to leave their promotion chances on a knife-edge, despite two more goals for teenager Darren Bent.

Naylor said: "We've made life extremely difficult for ourselves and this performance won't have done much for our already fragile confidence.

"It was the poorest we've played for a long time."
