Thurrock continued their winning streak with an emphatic win at Sudbury.
In near perfect conditions, Thurrock started the game well and Joe Beizendenhout went over for a served try wide out.
Dave Martindale increased the lead with a penalty, only for the home side to come back with an unconverted try.
Then came a salvo of scores from No8 Paul Starns, who had been doubtful before the match with an ankle injury.
Starns continued his great try scoring record with four ties, all of varying styles: an interception in the centre and wide out support play.
Chris Machin also got on the scoresheet, as did Daryll Worster.
Thurrock's eighth try was a penalty try given after a deliberate offside stopped Beizendenhout scoring his second try.
Martindale added four conversions to his earlier penalty.
Sudbury grabbed two tries in the second half, one of which was converted.
The result means Thurrock are still not safe in London Two, but are still edging away from the relegation zone.
