Braintree slimmer Elizabeth Daminger has proved she is a champion when it comes to losing weight - by shedding 8st 4lbs in 14 months.
Elizabeth, 29, has been given the Greatest Loser 2003 award by Slimming World for her amazing weight loss.She began a diet in February last year, prompted by a desire to boost her career at the call centre where she works.
Now weighing in at l2 stones nine pounds, Mrs Daminger said: "I am having to get new clothes which I do enjoy but the downside is that it costs a fortune."
Elizabeth, once a size 28 and now l6, is a regular at the Slimming World Club which meets at the Marks Farm Community Centre in Clay Pit Way, Braintree.
