Fifteen-year-old Ricky Wiseman made the most of the Easter holidays, landing almost 100 carp in two 72-hour sessions at Gloucester Park.

Wiseman's first session took place in the big bay, where his homemade boilies tempted 49 carp over three days.

His best fish scaled 18lb, while he added two 17-pounders, three 16-pounders, and four 14-pounders as well as the smaller fish.

A few days later Wiseman was back, and this time he was pulling them from the cockle banks.

By the end of the second session he had landed another 48 carp to give him a grand total of 97 specimens over the two trips.

Gloucester Park regular Lloyd Mahoney took a tremendous 80lb-plus waggler haul when he fished Gloucester Park Lake.

Mahoney fished the cockle bank where he used luncheon meat to land numerous carp, five bream, and a couple of quality roach.

His day started relatively slowly, but regular loose feeding saw his swim building up to the point where he was getting a bite every cast at one stage during the afternoon.

Ten-year-old Ricky Wilson took the biggest Gloucester Park carp of the week when he landed a tremendous 23lb 8oz common from the little bay.

Wilson, who landed a 13-pounder earlier in the day, tempted the big fish with ledgered luncheon meat.

Jamie Ferguson had a surprise when the Gloucester Park carp he was playing turned out to be a tremendous zander.

Fifteen-year-old Ferguson was fishing at tench point when the 9lb fish picked up his Activate boilie.
