A daughter is desperate to get in contact with her elderly dad whom she has not seen or heard from in two weeks.
Alison Mason, 40, of Joseph Gardens, Silver End, was due to meet her dad, Harold Mace, at Tesco's in Maldon a couple of weeks ago but he failed to turn up.
She is now growing increasingly concerned and wants anyone who may know of his whereabouts to get in contact.
She said: "He is a private person but I often meet him in Maldon and if he's not going to turn up for any reason, he will ring but he didn't on this occasion."
Mr Mace, 88, used to live in Terling and then moved to Great Leighs. He sold his house and moved to Burnham to live on a boat some months ago but never passed on the address to his daughter.
Mrs Mason added: "He doesn't tell us too many details about his life and whereabouts but he always tells me when he's not going to meet me."
He is average build, wears glasses, grey hair and drives a Ford Orion car.
