Wickford tennis club is giving non-players a chance to get on court and give the game a go.
The club, in Swan Lane, is holding it's Play Tennis day on Saturday, June 14, between 10am and 1pm.
There will be free coaching, a ball machine and a service speed measurer as well as many giveaways. "The tennis is on offer for all ages and we'll even provide a racket," said a club spokesman.

Play Tennis is the annual LTA initiative aimed at getting people to take up the sport.
