The demolition of a seafront house and the conversion of another to make way for flats have been opposed by town councillors
Councillors from Frinton and Walton Town Council had the chance to look at the plans for Third Avenue and The Esplanade, Frinton, at their meeting.
The plans included demolishing 2 Third Avenue and building five flats and converting another at 4 The Esplanade into two flats with garages, parking and landscaping.
Councillors opposed the plans put forward by MCC Developments because of the size of the proposed building and because it would be out of keeping with the street scene.
Tendring Council will have the final say
