Parts of Hadleigh are becoming a "war zone" with many residents frightened to venture out after dark, a councillor has claimed.
Godfrey Isaacs, a member of Hadleigh and Daws Heath area forum, said he felt safer walking the streets of New York than his home town.
He said: "There is a growing problem of youth nusiance particularly by John Burrows recreational ground."
