Young Hawkwell motocross star Marcus-Lee Soper secured a top-six place in Holland as he made his first appearance for the British junior team.
Against riders two years older, nine-year-old Marcus, of Briar Close, finished sixth in a field of 40 at the Overloon track which was hosting its 19th international youth weekend.
Already the youngest member of Britain's under-21 squad, Marcus' ongoing good form has impressed sponsors Phoneparts KTM.
In fact, they are impressed to the extent that they are backing another trip to Holland at the end of August - he has been invited to train with a top Dutch coach for three days before a race meeting.
