A young woman had a lucky escape after vandals threw objects at the bus she was on.
The objects smashed through a nearby window, shattering fragments of glass across her face and body.
The attack was directed at a First bus as it was driving through Millennium Way into Braintree.
As it passed Malonies' Veterinary Surgery, three men were seen throwing objects at the bus.
It is not known what they were throwing but it caused a top window on the bus the shatter across the passenger. Fortunately, she was uninjured.
The attack happened at 4.05pm. Witnesses can call Braintree police on 01376 551312.
