Volunteer co-ordinator Suzie Brutnell said ten youths aged between 14 to 19 from the Hertfordshire branch of the charitable organisation Millennium Volunteers, are travelling over to south Essex to lend a hand.
She said: "We are delighted the group are coming over as we have only just started work in the garden and a lot of hard graft is necessary!
"The garden is going to look lovely when it is finished and will be opened to be the public as well as everyone who visits the Tyrells Centre."
