"They were a bit of an unknown quantity but we came out strong and were well on top from the start -- scoring around 50 points before half time," said injured skipper Craig McLennan, who was watching from the sidelines.
Billericay stormed to a comprehensive victory in the Essex Intermediate Cup, walloping Ilford Wanderers 47-12 at home, but Stamford were well beaten, going down 48-8 to Chingford.
Westcliff progressed to the next round without having to set foot on the field of play.
Scheduled opponents Bancroft withdrew to hand them a walkover.
