Earlier this year, more than 90 hut owners were given notice by the Walton Pier Company, which owns the site, to dismantle their huts after fears the land was sliding.

Now, Walton Pier, owned by Cinque Port Leisure, has spent up to £70,000 and seven weeks completely reworking the area to make it the soon-to-be-sought-after location to have a hut.

The whole space has been made stable and different levels created, separated by railway sleepers.

When the new huts are placed on the prime spot, there will also be special lighting, wheelchair access for three tiers of huts, a water supply and designated parking for the site users.

There is space for 140 huts and the pier is also offering people to put huts direct from them.
