They revelled in the fun and are looking forward to another session in the new year.
The event was organised by Canvey's PC Jessica Fisher, in conjunction with the Games Workshop store from Southend.
She said: "It was a thoroughly good day. We had youngsters ranging in age from eight to 16 who all got on well together and were helping each other out.
"We are looking at staging another one of these after Christmas and then hopefully running it as a regular thing, but we would need volunteers to help out."
Anyone who would like to help out as a volunteer is urged to contact PC Fisher on 01268 775533.
