A father spoke today of his nightmare wait to find out how his son died.
Stevie Eaton died in July of a rare heart condition while working at Harwich International Port.
The 25-year-old suffered from idiopathic fibres, which affects about one in a million people.
His parents, Jeff and Margaret Eaton, of Wix Road, Ramsey, have waited four months for the release of his body so they could bury their only son.
"The past few months have been a complete nightmare and we now just want to lay Stevie to rest," he said.
Mr Eaton said they have now been told by doctors that Stevie's condition was like a time bomb waiting to go off.
"It could have happened anywhere at any time. It was unlikely to have been picked up in normal circumstances," he added.
A post-mortem examination soon after his death failed to give an exact cause.
However, further tests later revealed the condition. As it was due to natural causes, there will not be an inquest.
