These three new machines are making a clean sweep across Castle Point.

They are set to help give the borough a thorough brush up as part of an ongoing bid to improve the environment and the street scene.
Castle Point borough technical services director Nigel Thomas said: "The main machine, which cost £80,000 sweeps the roadside channels at the edge of the roads.
"The medium-sized one sweeps on the footpath, and the tiny one sweeps the precincts. The two smaller machines are contract hired, but if we bought them would be £30,000 and £15,000."
