Former EastEnders' star Martin Kemp will be in south Essex this weekend to spark off Christmas celebrations.
Martin, who played Steve Owen in the soap and is currently starring in Family on television, will join with Santa to lead the Grays Christmas procession from Morrisons, along George Street, into the High Street and into Grays Shopping Centre on Saturday.
At 12.30pm in the centre, Martin - along with Thurrock mayor Gerard Rice - will turn on the lights. Martin, formerly of Spandau Ballet, will also be signing autographs.
