Motorists and cyclists were today warned to park their property in garages overnight after the latest spate of thefts.
Police have revealed a car, a motorbike, a moped and three bikes were stolen on Canvey over the weekend.
A Yamaha moped worth £1,500, was stolen from outside a home in Birch Road, Canvey.
A Montego was taken by joyriders from Devon Way - it was later found burned out in Tip Road. And a Honda motorcyclewas stolen from Canvey Road.
Police also want information about the thefts of three cyclesd from Harvest Road, Hilton Road and the High Street.
PC Kevin Hemsworth said keeping property in a garage, or outbuilding, would greatly reduce people's chances of becoming the next victim.
